ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR THE SESSION-2013-2014
ARTS, SCIENCE, & VOCAITONAL STREAMS

    1. Last date for receipt of application:- Two weeks (fourteen days from the date of publication of results of the qualifying examination excluding the date of publication or the date to be fixed up by the Government.
    2. Commencement of admission based on first round of selection within 14days from the last date fixed for the receipt to application.
    3. Completion of admission:- Within 21 days from the dae of commencement of admission.
    4. The following fees are to be collected from each student of all the streams (Arts,Science, & Voctional) at the time of admission only once for two years.
      The details are given below:

      F Junior red cross Rs. 10/- per Students Rs. 10/- per Students
      G Social Service fee Rs. 5/- per Students Rs. 5/- per Students
      H Scout & Guide Rs. 10/- per Students Rs. 6/- per Students
      Total Rs. 255/- per Students Rs. 215/- per Students
      Note:
      1. The admission process (a.b. & c.) should be completed within six week from the date of publication of results of Annual HSC Examination conducted by BSE, Orissa or on the date of reopening of the institution whichever is later.
      2. A candidate who passes the Supplementary High School Certificate Examination conducted by the other State Board/Central Board of Secondary Education/ Indian Council of Secondary Education may be admitted to an Institution within three weeks after publication of result, Provided that the Council may extend the date of admission by 10days with late fee of Rs. 20/-(Rupees Twenty) only.
        Provided further that a candidate who passes the Annual HSC Examination can take admission along with the candidates passing Supplementary/Instant Examination or Vice-Versa subject to the availability of seats. Besides, the students may also be admitted into 1st year classes within two weeks (Fourteen days)following the last date of admission on payment of late fee of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only.
      3. In case of Students passing out from the board other than BSE, Odisha, an extra amount Regd. fee 20/- (Rupees Twenty) only has to be collected and deposited to words Regd. Fee (Migration cases).
        Note:-
        AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION OF RETURN OF MATRICULATIONS ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED FEES SHOULD BE DEPOSITED IN COUNCIL IN SHAPE OF BANKDRAFT DRAWN IN FAVOUR OF "FINANCE OFFICE, C.H.S.E., ODISHA, BHUBANESWAR" PAYABLE AT BHUBANESWAR/ NORTH ODISHA UNIVERSITY.
    5. Commencement of Classes:- 17th July 2010 or the date fixed up by Government
  1. Re-Admission into +2 IInd Year Classes:-
    1. Last date of receipt of application 2nd July 2010 or the date of reopening of college fixed by the Govt. or whichever is earlier.
    2. Last date of completion of admission: 17th July 2010
    3. Commencement of Classes: The day on which the college reopen after Summer Vacation.
  2. The College authorities are advised not to admit students in subject(s which has/ have not been permitted by the Govt. /DHE/RDE. All admission must strictly be in accordance with the sanctioned strength given by the Govt./DHE/RDE in each subject. Any deviation in this respect shall be viewed seriously by the Council. The institutions will shoulder the sole responsibilities for their lapses.
  3. School Leaving Certificates of the Students admitted into higher Secondary Classes shall be cancelled by the respective Principals on the very day of admission after proper verification. The Photo long Roll-Cum- Admission Registers must contain the college admission Money Receipt No. and date as wel as SLC/CLC/No. and date in separate columns in addition to other information
  4. inter college transfer for combined attendance under regular & 162 will be given by the council in the date lines are a) for Higher Secondary (+2) 1st year Classes 1st august 2013 to Nov 2013
  5. Compulsory Subject for all streams (Arts, Science, & Vocational)
    1. English ------------------------------------------100 Marks
    2. MIL (Any of the following subject to be opted)
      1. Odia
      2. Hindi
      3. Bengali
      4. Telgu
      5. Urdu
      6. Sanskrit
      7. Alternative English
    3. Environment Education --- EE----------- 100 Marks
      The above subjects, will be assured at the college level for 100 marks (70 marks for the theory & 30 marks for Practical) at the end of 1st year at higher secondary and also vocational stream and the grades are to be awarded by the college and send to the Council Office after Recording in the body of the MNR and the same shall be recorded in the body of the pass certificate given by the council subsequently.
    4. Yoga ------------------------------------------------- 100Marks
      Yoga will be taught as compulsory subject and will be assessed at the College/ Higher Secondary School level for 100 Marks, 50 Marks in theory and 50 marks in practical. The theory portion will be taught in the 1st year and its Examination shall be conducted at the end of 1st year (11th class). The practical portion will be taught in the 2nd year and its Examination shall be conducted at the time of Test Examination in 2nd year (12th Class). The grades are to be awared by the college and be sent to the Council Office after recorded in the pass Certificate given by the Council
      The guideline for awarding grade for assessment of Environmental education EE/ Yoga
      Mark in Percentage Grade
      70 to above Grade A+
      60 to 69 Grade A
      50 to 59 Grade B
      35 to 49 Grades C
      Below 35 Grade D
      N:B: the Grade secured in Environment Education and Yoga will not affect the result of the Candidate.
    5. (A) Subject of Education of Arts Stream
      (Out of the following nine categories a student may offer any four elective subjects (as First, Second, Third and Fourth Elective Subject) carrying a maximum of 200 marks i.e. 100marks for 1st year and 100 marks for 2nd year.
      1. Political Science
      2. History /
      3. Economics/IRPM
      4. logic/Geography
      5. Mathematics / Home Science
      6. Education/ Psychology/Indian Music
      7. Anthropology/Sociology/Statistics.
      8. Oriya/ Sanskrit/Persian/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Bengali/Telgu
      9. Information Technology.
      5. (B) Subject of examination for Science Stream:
      Out of the following four groups of elective subjects a student may offer any four subjects carrying a maximum of 200 marks i.e. 100marks for 1st year and 100marks for 2nd year.
      1. Physics - 1st Elective------------------------100marks
      2. Chemistry - 2nd Elective ---------------------100marks
      3. Mathematics / Biology / Geology (Can be opted for both 3rd and 4th Elective subjects (one in each case) --------------------- 100 marks
      4. Electronics/ Statistics / Geography / Comp. Sc/ IT/BT/ Economics/ Sanskrit (Can be opted for both 4th Elective subjects only) ----------100 marks
