College Crest

The College crest depicts to its left an Industry, to its right a River flowing by mountains, on the top a Temple and below an Open Book with a burning Pradipa. The industry symbolises the mineral resources which hold out bright prospects for an industrial Keonjhar and Orissa. The river flowing by the mountains represents the sacred Baitarini originated from Gonasika and flowing by the various mountains in Orissa. It also symbolises the Scenic beauties of Keonjahr as well as Orissa. The temple on the top speaks the religious spirit of Orissa. The open book below represents for continuous learning enlightenment and intellectual endeavour. The burning lamp expels the darkness of ignorance. It is an humble invocation to the supreme and Almighty God to lead kindly light and to bless the students of this Almamater to keep their heads high. The National adage from the Upanishad "GYANAMEB JAYATE" at the bottom pronounces the victory of wisdom over everything and that it is the supreme power in the world.
